Job Description / Responsibility:

We are looking for a Research Officer (social and gender division) for 3-6 months assisting in preparing a research report on marginalized communities including doing reference works, collecting secondary data, compilation and analysis of primary data, etc. The candidate must have capacity of articulating the arguments, clear understanding of the dynamics of marginalized communities, culture and practices, religiosity and festivals, etc. Candidates having experience of writing in the newspapers and journals will be given preference. Highly deserving candidates may be provided better remuneration.

Educational Requirements

Minimum masters in sociology or anthropology with good academic track record from reputed universities only.

Additional Job Requirements

Fluency in English and good command over written English. Excellent computer operation skills including word processing (English) and Power Point.

Salary Range

Tk. 18000-20000
